About Miriam College Souvenir Shop

 

The Souvenir Shop is one of the three business centers of the Entrepreneurship department. The Souvenir Shop is the official Miriam College shop that sells the school’s souvenir items. This is where students under the Entrepreneurship department work, train, and learn on how to operate a business as well as handling and managing people. Also, the place intended for Entrepreneur students to put into practice the skills and techniques learned in the course (i.e., selling, marketing, costing and pricing etc.)  

 

The Souvenir Shop is intended to provide instructional support for the Entrepreneurship program as well as to other business courses. Entrepreneurship department establishes this manual for the following reasons:

 

·         To standardize the operations of the Souvenir Shop

·         To maximize the benefits of the Souvenir Shop facility and work resources

Mission

The Souvenir Shopoffers quality Miriam College souvenir products and services. It aims for continuous development by focusing on customer needs and employ these directly to the business. It grows continuously by capturing satisfaction and delight among customers.  

 

As a student-operating shop, the Entrepreneurship students / Souvenir Shop officers are focused in utilizing and developing entrepreneurial skills and business operating skills learned in class to put into action and be best leaders in the future. 

Vision

The Souvenir Shop aims to be recognized as an exceptionally excellent business center inMiriam College by way of performance at an outstanding level providing customers with high quality products and services.

Objectives

The Souvenir Shop is Miriam College's official and only shop that sells souvenir items. It offers a wide selection of quality products such as jackets, dolls, souvenir shirts, key chains, pencils and ballpens, ID reels, mugs, water bottles and many more to the entire Miriam College community.

 

Also, the shop is an experiential place for entrepreneur majors to have an opportunity to put into actual and practices the entrepreneurial skills and techniques learned in the course (i.e., selling, marketing, costing and pricing, and managing etc.).  It is also a venue where students are given the chance to develop their organizing skills, needed to efficiently record and monitor all sold and unsold items respectively.
